Band and Orchestra End of Year Banquet
Our end-of-the-year Banquet for both Band and Orchestra will be on May 25 in the commons, outside of the auditorium, beginning at 6:30 PM.
If you are attending the Banquet on the 25th then we need you to sign up to bring food as it is a potluck. We have lots of mouths to feed and want to ensure that everyone has a plate of food to eat. It is expected that if you are attending that you will contribute to the potluck. We will need sides, drinks, and desserts. Please bring your food by 6:25 PM and make sure you label what it is and what's in it so we avoid any allergic reactions. HCPS has announced graduation dates. Our school's graduation will be June 14 @ 3:00 PM. The band, choir, and orchestra play at graduation for our final exam. Mr. Frank has added two 7 AM rehearsals with the choir to the schedule. A Graduation Itinerary will be sent out.
Mandatory Marching Band Meeting
We will be having a marching band meeting on May 19 at 6:00 PM in the band room to go over anything and everything regarding the marching band season. One parent or guardian MUST attend if you are participating in marching band for the 2022-2023 school year.

2022 Marching Band Season
f you are participating in marching band next year please fill out this google form to register for the season! Please feel free to share this with anyone who is signing up for marching band but is not currently enrolled in a class with Mr. Frank: Marching Band Sign-Up
If you are participating in marching for next year, we have added two music reading sessions over the summer that are not required but highly recommended if you are in town. We will be playing through the music and working on it to give us a head start during band camp. These 2 dates are 6/28 & 7/12 and will run from 12:00-2:00 PM. Again these two dates are highly recommended if you are in the area.
If you are participating in Drumline next year please add these drumline placement clinic/audition dates to your calendar: 5/31, 6/2, and 6/3 from 6:00-8:00 PM. Please let Mr. Frank know ASAP if you cannot make any of these days.
Parents, please consider getting involved with our boosters program to support your students in band and orchestra! We meet once a month on the second Tuesday of each month. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to our president, Leslie VanHimbergen. Our next meeting is Tuesday 6/14 at 7:00 PM.
2022 Band Camp
The 2022 marching band dates are available. PLEASE put these in your calendars now to ensure no one misses a day of band camp! Schedule your vacations before band camp starts!! We will have a spring meeting in May, date TBA, to go over the information. It is starting a week earlier than normal due to school starting a week earlier. These dates and times are subject to change. Click HERE for information on the dates.
Student Volunteer Opportunity
If you need service hours, you can stay after school on select days to file our music library. There is a lot of music to sort and put away which means plenty of easy service hours.
